Do you even know my name?
Or is this a weird guessing game?
Did it float away on a paper plane?
Or slip right out your leaky brain?

You’ve called me “Champ” and once “My Dude,”
Then “Hey-You-There” (which felt kinda rude).
You called me “Sir Noodles” and “Captain Pajamas,”
Then blamed your forgettin’ on brain-crunching llamas.

You called me “Picklepants Thunderboom Squash,”
Then “Baron Von Bellybutton Bubblegum Blosh.”

You said “It’s Princess Fartina the Third!”
(Which, by the way, is completely absurd.)

You shouted “Sir Stink!” with a confident grin,
Then changed your mind—“No wait, it’s Big Jim!”

You asked a magician, a walrus, a shoe,
And texted your grandma to ask if she knew.

You’ve searched high and low, through clouds and through rain,

But here's the truth... I forgot my own name.

Do You Even Know My Name?

This is your chance to be published.

I'm creating a poetry book, and for every poem, I'm inviting one visual artist to join me by having their artwork featured alongside it. This contest is open to all ages, all styles, and all skill levels—from detailed illustrations to expressive stick figures. I'm not looking for perfection. I'm looking for emotion. Vibe. Story. Soul.

I haven’t decided what kind of art I want for each poem yet—and I’m keeping it that way on purpose. I’ll know it when I see it. So whatever your medium or method—if it speaks to the piece, it could win.

    Winners will receive:

    • Full credit in the book (your name + social handle listed)

    • Early access to purchase the book before anyone else

    • A special discount code just for you to share with friends and family

    • Feature shoutouts on my platforms

    • And a surprise gift from me to you—just as a thank-you for being part of this journey

    • (...and maybe more as this grows)

This project is all about community, creativity, and shared expression. Whether you're a professional or just love to create, if a poem speaks to you—draw it, paint it, collage it, sketch it. Submit it.

    Let’s make something beautiful—together.
